LongIsland Perm.Reg'd Miniature Smooth Dachshunds Contract and Guarantee The following terms and conditions constitutes as a sales contract between Ingrid Dalziel Hereafter referred to as the Seller and,_______________________________________________ hereafter referred to as the Buyer, regarding the following Dachshund Male / Female. CKC Registration # or Litter # ______________________Birthdate_______________________ CKC Registered under LongIsland Kennels, will follow when registered and conditions are met. Color_________________Tattoo #_______________________Location___________________ These terms and conditions are entered into and agreed upon by both the Buyer and the Seller.! Therefore it is agreed that: 1. This dog is sold for the purchase price of $_________________payable at the time of Delivery Of The Dog. 2. All charges relayted to shipping or delivery of dog to the Buyer are to be assumed by the buyer. If the dog is ever returned to the Seller for any reason, all the shipping charges are then too the Buyers responsibilities.________________________________ 3 The Buyer may never BREED / or use as STUD without the Sellers written permission. All dogs are Sold on a NON-BREEDING CONTRACT. The Buyer is Liable to Charges if he / she breaches this clause.____________________ 4. The Seller agrees to Register this dog with The Canadian Kennel Club at her expense. The Buyer will provide a copy of the Spay or Neuter Certificate to the Seller before the Registration Certificate is given to the Buyer. The dog is to be Spayed or Neutered by the age of 7 months or younger.__________________________________________ 5. The Buyer agree that should they ever wish to sell or otherwise dispose of the dog, the Seller is to be notified and given the first rights to buy back the dog at a price not more than the original purchase price. Should the Seller choose not to buy the dog, the new purchasers of the dog must agree to the terms of this agreement. If the dog is returned to the Seller for resale, the Seller will refund the selling price of the dog less any expenses in the resale [ food, boarding, advertising, shipping ect] to the Buyer within 14 days after resale.__________________ Page 1 .......................................................................................................................................................... PUPPY GUARANTEE: It is clearly understood by the Buyer that this dog was sold as a companion dog, and that he or she is not for Breeding / Stud / or Showing purpose. And must be Spayed or Neutered. 1. To the Sellers knowledge, this dog is believed to have no serious life threatening defects. The Seller has had the puppy check by her Veterinarian along with having his or her first Vaccination. This dog is believed to be healthy, and has been sold to the Buyer disease free. It has been inoculated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus appropriate for its age. The Buyer is advised by the Seller to have the dog or puppy examined by a Veterinarian of the Buyers choice at their expense within 72 hours of purchase to verify the dogs Health. If there is any problems within this time, the Seller will refund all money in Full. 2. Serious Life threatening or Debilitating Congenital and/ or Hereditary Defects: Your puppy is guaranteed for a period of one year from its birthday. If any of these are found No Money will be refunded, a replacement puppy will be provided when available. The Seller has the right to require a second opinion from her Veterinarian at her expense. If the puppy is euthanized without a second opinion from the Sellers Veterinarian the Buyer waives all rights to a replacement puppy. 3. The Seller will NOT GUARANTEE BACK PROBLEMS do to environmental exposure to toxins, poor nutrition and too vigorous exercise, Jumping, Stairs, Obesity etc. these are all strong determining factors in whether a Dachshund will develop a spinal condition. Should the dog develop a spinal condition at any time it is up to the Buyer to prove at their expense without a doubt that the spinal condition is due to a hereditary/congenital defect and not from any environmental factors. The Seller also feels if the puppy/dog has 300 to500mg Vitamin C everyday for the duration of the dogs life, this will help in spinal problems. ` 4. In return the Buyer must provide the following thoughout the dogs life, a proper fenced area for exercise, good quality pet food and an annual check up with annual Vaccinations. Never to be left tied up in a yard. And all the Love you can give, for you will get much more in Return.
